The five days of Henley Royal Reggate give you the opportunity to enjoy international rowing, with it’s unique blend of speed, stamina, tactics and power from one of Britain’s most consistently successful sporting events at the Olympics.

First held in 1839, each summer, the town of Henley-on-Thames is brought to life with this unique rowing event. Offering 100 world-class races over 5 days and the chance to see our Olympic stars.

Henley Royal Regatta now lasts for 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday) over the first weekend in July. Races are head-to-head knock out competitions, raced over a course of 1 mile, 550 yards (2,112 m). The regatta regularly attracts international crews to race. The most prestigious event at the regatta is the Grand Challenge Cup for Men's Eights, which has been awarded since the regatta was first staged.
