ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK (30th January 2020)

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy events company in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

This is a temp to full-time position, 7.5 hours daily

The ideal candidate needs to have a good working understanding of accounting concepts and basic bookkeeping, with recent experience in accounts payable.

Description of Role

  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Checking and processing supplier invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers, setting up new accounts and resolving any queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliation & weekly payment runs
  • Processing invoices and payments on Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Checking and processing staff and credit card expenses
  • Petty cash
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and clients
  • Ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate must:

  • Be available to start immediately
  • Have exposure to Purchase ledger in a previous role
  • Excellent Excel & Administration skills
  • Confident working with accounting software
  • Be happy working in a small team

EVENT SALES EXECUTIVE (23rd August 2019)

Based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, Ambro Events is an established company specialising in Corporate Hospitality and Event Management.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate Event Sales Executive to join our existing team.

This is an opportunity for a talented individual to excel, generating new business across a wide range of hospitality products and event services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business leads and convert into sales
  • Engage with new and existing customers
  • Promote new and existing hospitality products to the corporate market
  • Maintain, develop and manage the CRM
  • Identify new areas of growth and implement new initiatives to drive business
  • Maximise potential around new and existing accounts
  • Create and attend appointments
  • Be ready and willing to take on a challenge

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Demonstratable sales experience within the Events Industry, preferably in a new business sales focused role
  • Knowledge of the corporate hospitality industry within the market place
  • Strong pro-active and re-active sales experience, preferably in B2B environment
  • Professional and mature communication skills, both on the phone, in person and written
  • Self -motivated and able to work well under pressure and within a small team
  • Able to manage own time effectively
  • Interest in Sports, Marketing & Events

This is a full-time position, based in Rickmansworth Hertfordshire
